Weekend Roundup for April 7, 2008

PFBloggers.com:

  • For starters, we’ve welcome a new member to PFBloggers — Girls Just Wanna Have Funds. Give her a warm welcome by looking at some of her articles.
  • Pinching Copper says going bald is a blessing in disguise. Way to be positive, and Happy Birthday, too!
  • Get Rich or Die Trying discussed the hourly pay of donating plasma. Just being honest, but donating blood/plasma makes me a little queasy.
  • Living Almost Large asks us where the point is that you stop repairing an older car. Tough, tough question. I don’t know what the exact answer is.

Elsewhere:

  • Free Money Finance shares an article about a low-wage worker who won the lottery, but went back to work. FMF asked if we would go back to work or not. I would definitely go back to work in some capacity. If we won the lottery, we would probably take a year off and get with a financial planner and come up with a solid plan. There would be a lot of time spent figuring out what we really, really want to do. Then we’d go do it. I’d keep blogging though.
  • Morningstar.com has a great article called IRA Do’s and Don’ts.
  • The Carnival of Personal Finance is up at Money Ning.
