Weekend Round Up for June 2, 2008

by Kevin on June 2, 2008

We had a nice relaxing weekend of doing a whole lot of nothing. I played too much Team Fortress 2, but it was quite enjoyable. Plus, we enjoyed air conditioning.

Don’t forget the Festival of Frugality will be here tomorrow morning.

  • Flexo at Consumerism Commentary had a free cash flow of $9,943! Holy cow!
  • Cash Money Life shows what you can do with your 401k when you leave your old job.
  • Gather Little by Little developed an Excel spreadsheet budget to share with his readers; then he revised it. He took some ideas from an Excel file I developed and made his own changes. Check it out, and as JD always says: do what works for you.
  • MoneyNing is running out of ideas to splurge on. A good post — what if we push our splurge soon so far out that we never splurge?
  • Last but not least brip blap has a ton of articles in my RSS reader that I keep pushing off. Why? Because his writing is really impactful and makes me stop and think. So, I’m sure there is something in his archives that is worth a look to you. Take a look.

No Debt Plan:

I’m going to be having a book giveaway this month, so subscribe to the RSS feed and stay tuned.

Wow, thanks, that’s a very nice thing to say. I’m just getting caught up on my blogging so I’m sorry this is such a belated thank-you!
