Month in Review: June 2008

by Kevin on July 1, 2008

Overview

As I mentioned last time, May was an incredible month for No Debt Plan. I had a post hit social media really well and bring in over 28,000 visitors. Naturally, I was not expecting the same results in June and unfortunately did not enjoy the same results. However, if you compare April to June there was positive momentum. So some of the stats below are comparing to April, not May.

The Monthly Stats (vs. 1 months ago):

  • Posts: 38 vs. 43 in May (11.6% decrease) — two months of decreases… not good!
  • Comments/Pingbacks: 134 vs 185 in May (27.5% decrease) — makes sense, less posts and didn’t have a post garner 20,000 visitors so thus will have fewer comments.
  • Visits: 7,908 vs. 6,578 in April (20.2% increase)
  • Page Views: 12,652 vs.10,014 in April (26.3% increase)
  • RSS Subscribers: 250 vs. 194 in May (28.9% increase)

As I said, overall positive momentum. I’ve reached 250 in RSS subscribers. That’s 16% toward my goal of 1,500 subscribers by August 31. That’s going to be touch to reach, but I’m up to the challenge.

What’s Coming in July:

  • Continuation of the No Debt Plan series. We’re up through the first four steps thus far.
  • A few more Dumb Money articles.
  • If I can find the time, I’ll talk about how my wife and I bought our first home.
