Month in Review: October 2008

Overview

Some positives, some negatives…

The Monthly Stats (vs. 1 month ago):

  • Comments/Pingbacks: 178 vs 226 (21% decrease)
  • Visits: 9,151 vs. 6,139 (49% increase!)
  • Page Views: 13,665 vs. 10,651 (28% increase)
  • RSS Subscribers: 509 vs. 440 (16% increase)

I tried to focus on more high quality posts in October. My post count continues to drop — not something I am thrilled with myself about. Work, MBA studies, and life continue to strain my time on blogging. I’m committed to producing a quality product for you readers.

Visits jumped 49% thanks to a lot of traffic from Google — hooray! Page views followed, and RSS subscribers also increased.

What’s Coming in November:

  • Step six of the No Debt Plan series will be here. I thought I’d crank this out in August September October, but I didn’t. (A little thing called the financial crisis kind of got in the way!) We’re up through the first five steps thus far. You should be out of debt. We’re working on building wealth now. If it is the last thing I do, I’ll publish step six this month!
  • An article walking you through how to open up an IRA at Vanguard.
  • We’ll talk about preparing for the holidays and the next tax season.

Thanks!

Thanks for coming back time and time again. Let me know if you have any specific questions that I can help you with.
