Last night I stayed up late for a personal finance bloggers fantasy football league live draft. I’m excited about football as you might imagine. If you want to play fantasy football you still have tonight to do your draft (play starts tomorrow night). Yahoo is offering free live stat tracking this year so you don’t have to wait until the next day to calculate how well your team player. Sign up at Yahoo!

A few good articles from the past couple of weeks… (and I know I’ve missed a bunch so expect another round up in a few more days).

A great article from USA Today comparing debit and credit cards. Hits on several issues surrounding the risk of either including things I have talked about before such as what happens if someone steals your debit card and cleans you out? Just some food for thought.

Tired of receiving so much crap in your mailbox every day? Cut down on some of the offers you receive in the mail by opting out of credit card and insurance mailers.

A quick read on the basics of Dave Ramsey’s Drive Free and Retire Rich. We’re currently saving up to pay cash for two “new” (to us) vehicles in 2012 and 2014. It takes planning ahead, but paying cash will save us a ton of money.
