Several of my well-known blogger friends participated in a quick bout of storytelling for About.com’s Kid and Money section.
The questions were on the topic of what your first job was, and what advice you would give kids today about first jobs. The answers are what you might expect… tutoring, babysitting, working at a golf course, selling cat towels, etc.
Wait, what?
Selling cat towels? Jeff from Good Financial Cents wins the oddest first job award. (You can read about my first job as well.)

My friend had to clean out the machine that smashed animals into sausage meat as his first job, YUK! Gladly mine was just delivering newspapers.
Wish I had an interesting first job; worked in a supermarket.
